1、概述
 GW4型户外高压隔离开关是用于三相交流50Hz的户外高压电气设备，供线路在有电压无负载的情况下进行分合，以及对被检修高压母线、断路器等电气设备与带电的高压线路进行电气隔离之用，也可用于开合小的电容或电感电流。在闸刀处于正常分闸位置时，可提供一个符合安全要求的
绝缘距离。 广泛使用于35-220kV变电站。
2、主要结构及特点
1、隔离开关为双柱水平旋转式，由底座、支柱绝缘子、接线座、左右触头装配、 接地刀等部分组成；
2、触指与触指座之间采用轴窝连接，接线板与触杆之间采用铜软连接， 使产品的主回路电阻比老式结构大幅度减小。
3、两只支柱绝缘子下端固定在轴承座上端的转动盘上，左右 触头分别固定在支柱绝缘子的上端，由操动机构带动转动盘，使支柱带动触头臂转动90度，另一支柱的转动盘由于交叉连杆 拉动同时反向转动90度，于是闸刀向一侧断开或闭合。触头开距大，有足够裕量的绝缘隔离断口，从而保证其安全；
4、采用滚动轴传动，操作省力，转动灵活，开合自如。
5、产品有不接地、单接地、双接地三种方式，主轴与接地之间有可靠的机械连锁，从而保证其安全；
6、配用CJ2自动操动机构或CS-17G手动机构等，可附装电磁锁。操作机构上的定位装置， 能保证触头与静触 头处于正确的接触位置或分断位置。
