The 1kV extruded insulated power cable produced by Shandong Yanggu Cable Group is fixedly laid on transmission and distribution lines with AC 50Hz and rated voltage of 1kv and below for transmitting electric energy. The laying method can be buried underground, in the air, on a bridge, etc.

2. GB/T 19666-2005 General rules for flame-retardant and fire-resistant cables (only applicable to flame-retardant and fire-resistant cables)

1. Conditions of use

Rated working voltage: 0.6/1 (1.2) kV;

Cable laying temperature: ≥0℃;

The maximum allowable long-term operating temperature of cable conductors: PVC insulation: 70℃, XLPE insulation: 90℃;

The maximum working temperature of the cable during short circuit (maximum 5s): XLPE insulation 250℃; PVC insulation: cross-sectional area ≤ 300mm², 160℃, cross-sectional area > 300mm², 140℃;

The minimum allowable bending radius of the cable: single-core unarmored 20D, single-core armored 15D, three-core unarmored 15D, three-core armored 12D. Note: D is the actual outer diameter of the cable.

2. Structural requirements

The basic structure of 1kV extruded insulated power cable consists of three parts: conductor, insulation layer and protective layer.

1) conductor

The conductor is made of twisted copper wire or aluminum wire and meets the requirements of GB/T 3956-2008 standard. Conductors are the conductive parts of power cables used to carry electrical energy

2) Insulation

Insulation is extruded PVC or XLPE. Electrically isolate the wire core from the earth and wire cores of different phases to ensure power transmission.

3) Outer sheath

The outer sheath is PE or PVC, and flame retardant, termite-proof, low-smoke low-halogen flame-retardant, low-smoke halogen-free flame retardant and other materials can also be provided according to customer requirements. Its function is to protect the power cable from the intrusion of external impurities and moisture, and to prevent direct damage to the power cable by external forces.
