Single-mode or multimode fibers are sleeved into a loose tube made of high-modulus polyester material, which is filled with a water-repellent compound. In the center of the core is a metal reinforcing core, and for some core cables, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is squeezed out of the metal reinforcing core. The loose tube (and filler rope) are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact, circular core with a gap filled with water-blocking filler. The plastic-coated aluminum strip (APL) is squeezed with a layer of polyethylene inner sheath after longitudinal wrapping, and the polyethylene outer sheath is extruded after the double-sided chrome-plated plastic-coated steel strip (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped. After being armored with a single thin round steel wire, the polyethylene outer sheath is finally extruded into a cable.
